In the midst of dire calamity, I am hoping my painting gives people peace of mind. Amabie is a yokai to protect people from pandemic. I gave it my own artistic twist. While the world never stops being bitter and tough, it is possible for us to find small happiness and peace near us. It could be a good opportunity now to consider what’s most important to us. I hope my painting will help you find a silver lining.
