FROM THE ARTIST: 

I learned about Amabiko, when I was researching Amabie. Amabiko predicts a good harvest and pandemic as Amabie does. Painting its image will help people withstand disasters. We are all stuck in our own rooms. I imagined Amabie and Amabiko would visit us and deliver news of the end of this pandemic. 
I hope we all go back to normality soon. I continue to paint everyday, hoping my works encourage people.
