FROM THE ARTIST: 

I painted Amabie and his fellow creatures as they gathered in a forest, being blessed under the starry sky. I hope that peaceful everyday life will come back to each one of us soon.

The original Amabie sketch looked adorable to me. It is one of Yaorozu no kami (eight-million gods), so I paint it as a goddess or spirit. I depicted the world full of light. Amabie and spirits are collecting light. I believe everyone is doing the best that they can do now. One of the things I can do is paint. I hope this painting gives you peace of mind.
